Job title: Direct Marketing Manager (Rogers for Business)  


Reporting to the Senior Manager of Lead Management and Direct Marketing, the ideal candidate is accountable to execute on the direct marketing strategy to support the organizational goals of the Marketing, Sales and Product organization. This is a critical role to ensure that we deliver qualified leads across Sales channels, with special focus on outbound and hyper targeted marketing campaigns.  


The role requires an understanding of sales priorities and performance to ensure that campaigns are in place to support sales volumes and drive action, as well as an understanding of marketing lead generation tactics and sales funnels. The role will help define the addressable market leveraging data-driven insights, deliver prospect and base campaigns for sales outbound calling and help enable sales teams to successfully execute marketing campaigns.


The successful candidate will need to take on new challenges, be agile and flexible with varying priorities throughout the year, garner buy-in on key programs from senior leadership team and collaborate well with various cross functional teams under tight timelines.  

 

What you will be doing:
•    Develop base/ acquisition targeted and multi-touch campaigns, including cross-sell and lead nurture where appropriate and in collaboration with Marketing, Product and Sales; tactics may include, but not limited to, outbound campaigns, email, direct mail
•    Lead the strategy, planning and execution of Direct Marketing campaigns, including, but not limited to setting of objectives, list and data analysis, lead monitoring, ensuring proper campaign support material, conducting sales feedback loops and reviewing campaign effectiveness 
•    Leverage Salesforce and dashboard reporting to monitor lead activity and campaign success, ensuring that leads are actioned and that opportunities for funnel acceleration/ lead nurture are identified
•    Communicate marketing results to Sales and Marketing leadership
•    Expand and grow marketing qualified leads by seeking new and innovative ways to expand our marketing reach (e.g targeted campaigns to support network expansion – building focused, account-based marketing, retail etc.)
•    Ensure continuous improvements to increase Sales uptake, lead efficiency and reporting accuracy in collaboration with Marketing, Sales, Data and Analytics, Digital and Salesforce administration teams
•    Support the regional marketing team in executing lead management programs in the regions as required 
•    Support any key strategic priorities or special projects to support other key channels or teams

 

What you bring:
•    Minimum 5 years experience in B2B marketing (Telecommunications experience an asset)  
•    Proven experience launching marketing campaigns and reporting on results 
•    Salesforce experience preferred
•    Knowledge of Marketing Technology tools and platforms an asset (Marketing Cloud, Pardot)
•    Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
•    Strong written and oral communication skills
•    Strong relationship building and networking qualities 
•    Strong analytical skills a must
•    Flexible, strong time management skills, ability to manage multiple initiatives within short timelines; thrive within a fast-paced environment 
•    Analytic, ability to interpret data and translate into insights and action
