Marketing Platform Manager 

 

Who we're looking for: 

 

Rogers Sports and Media is looking for a marketing enthusiast and passionate content consumer to join our team in the role of Platform Manager, supporting the promotion of our world-class sports and entertainment properties.  

 

As the Platform Manager the successful candidate will join a passionate team of Marketing strategists and contribute to building brands, driving audiences and subscription sales. We’re looking for a self starter to take the lead on driving operational excellence and discoverability for our subscription and editorial properties.

 

What you'll do: 

  • Optimize marketing and editorial sites and apps by anticipating, planning and employing SEO best practices for various LOBs
  • Communicate relevant researched search terms to the Marketing and Product teams
  • Ensure articles and landing pages have the best possible headlines, sub-headlines and are optimized for search
  • Monitor site analytics and use SEO tools and techniques to optimize site traffic, improve user experience and increase subscriptions
  • Work with Product teams to ensure the technical aspects of our website are optimized for SEO
  • Implement and monitor platform pixels and event tagging to track paid campaign KPIs 
  • Utilize data and testing to unlock new insights on our customer base and create new / innovative ways to grow the business 
  • Manage optimizing content, copy, and assets across web and app
  • Develop processes to ensure our campaigns are deployed and maintained at a consistent level with Product and Data partners
  • Develop success metrics/KPIs to measure the effectiveness of campaigns
  • Deliver weekly and monthly performance updates to our senior leadership team

 

What you bring: 

  • Knowledge of organic search algorithms and organic updates
  • Google Analytics certified
  • Adobe Experience
  • Understanding of attribution models
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully monitor new organic trends and products and apply findings to agency and clients
  • Operational experience in driving campaigns across multiple channels and deep understanding of marketing, reporting and analysis tools
  • You have the discipline, organizational skills, and interpersonal communication skills necessary to navigate complex organizational dynamics
  • Passion and belief in the power of analytics to drive better decision making
