Who we are looking for:

The Rogers Residential Marketing team is looking for a passionate and dynamic individual to fulfill the role of Consumer Marketing Specialist reporting to the Director, Consumer Marketing for the Rogers brand.

In this role, you will be accountable for helping to drive customer profitability through differentiated value propositions, executing go-to-market strategies for whole-home offerings and partnering across teams to deliver actionable insights that elevate our customer experience.

 

What you will be doing:

Support the evolution of the value prop framework for Rogers residential, driving differentiation in the marketplace and value to our customers.  Help build a deep understanding of the whole-home residential product portfolio and positively influence multi-product attach.
Help define and evolve consumer market segments at a household level with a whole home mindset. Customer sub-segments (needs, wants, size) should be targeted, clearly differentiating brands and products so that value proposition and execution (advertising, sales, CBM, care) for each segment delivers on revenue and ARPA objectives.
Partner with Brand and Research to deliver actionable customer insights at a household level and help guide future roadmap planning. A commercial mindset will be key.
Positioning & Packaging of value proposition of initiatives (ie – Full Home Coverage, 5GHI, Entertained, Home Security).  Assist with the integration of value prop components with quarterly planning and commercial offers. 
Work closely with the Product team to gather and maintain accurate product information, ensuring marketing materials and campaigns are aligned with current offerings. Act as a go-to contact for product updates and changes to support timely and successful launches.

 

What you bring:

  • Undergraduate degree in a business discipline
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing or project management
  • Experience in Strategy and Product  Management roles an asset
  • Ability to think outside the box to resolve complex issues in a cross-functional environment
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Comfort with numbers and good analytical skills
  • Self-driven, ability to take initiatives and propose concepts/activities that would make a difference for our customers
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to produce and sustain excellent results over a period of time
  • Telecommunications experience strongly preferred
