Who we’re looking for:
We are seeking a highly experienced Manager, Testbeds and SME Engagement to join our Partnerships & Innovation function within the Technology Strategy team. This role will be the link from the external startup and scale up ecosystem to the broader technology and business teams.
The primary purpose is to drive AI adoption and 5G monetization trials and demonstrations that support our long-term strategies. The ideal candidate will also work closely with hyperscalers and global operators to identify and bring innovations to life.
What You’ll be doing:
- Be a key lead in the AI and 5G Program by identifying new and emerging opportunities and surfacing key focus areas tied to C-level priorities.
- Identify, develop, and plan executive engagements with strategic partners to identify new opportunities and define a systematic program to identify and move forward key initiatives.
- Manage the backlog of relevant partner opportunities against strategic objectives, priorities, and KPIs.
- Communicate and program manage opportunities, including regular updates to Leadership.
- Manage theme-based relationships with strategic partners, key suppliers, global tech leaders, and operators.
- Support the process for innovative companies and start-ups from around the world to engage with Rogers on key strategic areas related to AI and 5G.
- Establish appropriate owners for high-potential concepts.
- Participate in the delivery stages of innovation (design solution, build, and scale).
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or business; Master’s degree strongly preferred.
- 10 years of experience in technology-focused roles
- Experience working within the startup and scaleup ecosystem
- Advanced user of PowerPoint and Excel.
- Strong ability to take abstract concepts and articulate them clearly.
- Excellent relationship management, leadership, and influencing skills to ensure continuous business support from key stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Creative and not afraid to explore white space ideas and new strategic concepts.
- Knowledge of key domains: AI/ML, 5G, Edge Computing, Cloud, IoT.

This is a hybrid work position and will require you to be in office three days per week. You can choose which days in office work best for you!
