Who we're looking for:
We are looking for a dedicated, high-performing, service-focused individual with experience leading VIP and general hospitality programs for clients and customers to join our team as Manager, Partnerships (Hospitality).
You will contribute to the strategy, development and execution of Rogers hospitality programs that deliver brand impact and drive business results. Candidates must have an aptitude for detail, problem-solving, strong communication, relationship-building and stakeholder skills, and bring demonstrated experience planning and executing premium hospitality experiences.
Reporting to the Director, Partnerships this role is responsible for developing and executing large scale premium hospitality offerings across our sports and entertainment partnerships portfolio to drive brand and business results for Rogers. Properties with hospitality offerings include NHL, Toronto Blue Jays, Live Nation, TIFF, MLSE, Tennis Canada and Rogers Charity Classic.
What you'll do:
- Align annual and event specific hospitality plans with Rogers brand, sales and business objectives.
- Lead the development and execution of premium hospitality offerings including first touch to completion of event for events related, but not limited to: NHL, Toronto Blue Jays, Live Nation, TIFF, Rogers Charity Classic, National Bank Open
- presented by Rogers, and other special events.
- Drive execution and strategic hosting plan across key partnerships including ticket and suite allocations, ELT briefings, hospitality list management, and on-site experience.
- Lead management of ticket distribution for all VIP and Rogers Beyond the Seat hospitality assets including regional teams, with team support
- Work closely with Business Unit hospitality leads to understand their hosting needs, communicate their allocation in a timely and consistent manner and assist as needed in delivery of tickets, messaging and serve as partnership prime related to hospitality needs
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners across Rogers partnerships including ELT/SLT, cross-functional leads, property and agency partners
- Lead the Executive and cross-functional socialization of Partnership and hospitality plans pre and post event, including executive-level memos, invites, ticket management, and post reports that deliver on bold ambition and KPIs
- Lead budget related to hospitality overall and work closely with SLT to plan quarterly and brand planning and budgeting
- Continuously identify ways to challenge the status quo and elevate Rogers Partnerships to deliver on long-term brand growth and business impact
What you bring:
- 5+ years of experience in Partnerships, Events, or high-profile hospitality initiatives. Experience should include liaising with executive level leaders, strategy management and execution, and coordination of premium offerings across projects.
- University degree, preferably in sponsorship marketing and/or comms
- Strong understanding of the Partnership landscape (Canada, US, Global) and competitor tactics to execute flawless hospitality initiatives.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Preference given to individuals with experience leading premium brand hospitality at major events or organizations
