Sales Support for the Major Accounts organization plays a critical role in driving business decisions for all related key programs and opportunities. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Sales Optimization, this role will help drive sustained, profitable, and strategic success for the Major Accounts Sales team. Through analytical and financial support, the successful candidate will help develop business case insights that are foundational to optimize existing programs and new business opportunities.

In addition to strong analytical abilities, this position requires an individual with strong business acumen and outstanding communication skills who can multi-task in a fast paced environment. The successful candidate will excel at fostering internal partnerships with multiple stakeholders in a cross-functional environment to provide support for key strategic Sales initiatives.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Apply your creative problem solving skills to lead in the design and management of models to analyze the economic impact of Sales initiatives
  • Recommend and implement process improvements and best practices
  • Provide financial support for special/ad-hoc projects, business case development, and post-implementation reviews of large-scale Sales programs with program owners and provide objective feedback and considerations for future enhancements
  • Work with Sales and delivery teams to ensure recommendations are successfully implemented and value/benefits are being tracked and realized
  • Develop and maintain tools and controls for non-standard pricing requests for the Major Accounts Sales organization. Leadership role in governance and deal review process to facilitate pricing approval escalations for Bulk deals
  • Work cross functionally to have analytical findings and program optimizations to feed CMA sales compensation strategy and sales targets as required
  • Liaise with Finance on program impacts to revenue and Sales OPEX / CAPEX reporting, forecasting, and budgeting
  • Develop internal partnerships to ensure a consistent communication flow between Sales, Finance, Marketing, and HR

 

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) required. Business, or a related discipline preferred
  • Minimum of 7 years experience in a Marketing or Finance support role with a minimum 3 years of related experience with advanced financial analytics
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, business case modeling
  • Proven ability to develop internal relationships/partnerships with multiple stakeholders and build consensus; including ability to foster constructive debate on business assumptions and provide viable alternatives to ensure programs are designed to drive strategic value
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with internal and external stakeholders
  • Self-starter who can operate independently to create process and solve problems
  • Strong business acumen and experience with business case creation and financial analysis
