On Air Asset Allocation Specialist

As part of the internal Creative Group, reporting to the Sr. Manager, Brand Asset Allocation, we are looking for a dynamic, detail oriented, sports focussed individual to join our team! You’ll help drive Sportsnet audiences through targeted scheduling of promos into our daily broadcast logs.


What You’ll Be Doing:


  • Executing on Marketing campaigns for Sportsnet by scheduling all on-air promos and elements
  • Collaborating regularly with Marketing, Creative and Operations teams to ensure all creative assets are available for air, including providing regular house numbers in order to complete delivery to Master Control
  • Taking ownership of the on-air presentation of all Sportsnet channels by ensuring excellent promo placement for maximum audience visibility
  • Demonstrating a high degree of sports knowledge in order to adapt to ever-changing scenarios in sports
  • Organizing and maintaining an accurate database of promos to ensure only the most relevant promos are available for air, including purging expired material
  • Provide a fill list for Traffic and Master Control for use in emergency situations
  • Accurately gather, coordinate and distribute weekly instructions for US ad avails
  • Assist with special projects/ad hoc requests as needed


What You Have:


  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in media, advertising, marketing or related field
  • Proven ability to manage multiple daily deadlines
  • Comfortable working in a very fast-paced environment
  • Passionate and knowledgeable sports fan
  • Knowledge in broadcast traffic process and production functions
  • Strategic thinker with client service mindset; able to serve multiple stakeholders simultaneously
  • Experience within the broadcast/media industry an asset
  • Familiarity with Rogers media brands an asset
