Creative Avid Editor required for delivery of short and long-form promo material for broadcast. The preferred candidate will possess the following:


  • Minimum of three years' experience as a creative Avid Video editor in a fast-paced environment.
  • Thorough knowledge of Avid Media Composer.
  • Experience in After Effects, Photoshop is an asset.
  • Strong experience with colour correction and sound mixing.
  • Familiarity with Avid ISIS shared storage and Quantel system.
  • Advanced knowledge of post-production workflows, closed captioning and file delivery.
  • Able to work closely with Producers, Creative Directors and meet very tight deadlines.
  • Sports knowledge an asset.
  • Disciplined self-starter able to work without supervision.
  • Must be Mac proficient.
