We’re looking for a Product Manager, Customer Data that is focused on finding new and innovative, data-driven, cross-platform use cases to engage our customers and deliver on our business goals. You will bring value to Rogers Sports and Media assets and broader Rogers 1st Party Data to come up with the best, future-proof data and product strategy to support our content subscription and ad monetization businesses.

You will support the overall Customer Data Product roadmap, manage the introduction of new ideas, develop use cases, and launch new platform solutions with the goal of understanding our audiences, enhancing customer experience and engagement and driving business growth and increased revenue.

In addition to being highly technical and experienced with fundamental data concepts and ad technologies, you will be a strategic team member to your team. The role must also stay on top of key industry trends in digital media and advanced advertising.

What you will do:

  • Support the data product & Over-The-Top strategy and roadmap plan of data-driven platforms that support our subscriber and advertising businesses with a focus on growth and increasing revenue.
  • Manage implementation of the data strategy roadmap by working with product managers, data analytics, and IT data development teams.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams; business owners, go-to market and sales, and revenue operations teams to achieve alignment on strategy, roadmap plans, and execute effectively on driving growth in Rogers Sports & Media subscriber and ad monetization businesses.
  • Manage vendor relationships covering vetting of new ideas, strategic planning, project implementation and ongoing post-production engagement.
  • Stay informed of new data and ad tech ideas and solutions and make sure that our ad business is offering the leading-edge features in the market.

What you will bring:

  • High level of proficiency with product management in AdTech or MarTech.
  • Excellent understanding of data-driven advertising and marketing solutions with a focus on technical platform integrations, audience engagement, segmentation, measurement, and reporting.
  • Proficiency in a combination of data analytics, data science, data engineering, cloud platforms, big data platforms, and Web APIs.
  • Experience in advanced ad tech or digital advertising domain with direct experience with ad platforms specifically ad servers, DSPs, DMPs, SSPs, CDPs and other media buying platforms.
  • The ideal candidate is a natural leader, with excellent communication and organizational skills and ability to influence decisions and facilitate change management through collaboration.
  • Self-motivated with a hands-on approach, demonstrated ability for strategic thinking and innovative problem-solving skills.
  • Passionate about new ideas and emerging market trends.
