Wireless Product team is looking for a Product Manager to take the helm of the Wireless Device Management and Accessory portfolio within Rogers for Business unit. It is a role based out of Toronto and reports into the Senior Manager, Wireless Product.

 

What you will do:

  • Build portfolio strategy; develop, and execute on product roadmap for new product launches (i.e. upfront edge for corporate segment) and for improvements to our current offerings (eSIM, Device Trade-In, Accessories, etc.), ensuring benchmarks for best in-class customer experience
  • Collaborate with Consumer product team on company wide device launches and procurement to ensure business requirements are supported
  • Secure cross-functional alignment on both strategy and execution on components such as new product development and launches, marketing and pricing strategies, value prop development along with selection and integration of strategic partners.
  • Lead portfolio performance management to drive business growth and profitability
  • Collaborate with device and accessory vendors to support business campaigns and initiatives
  • Develop business cases to guide decision for new Product functionality and improvements to current offerings and work cross-functionally to obtain governance approval
  • Clearly document and communicate objectives, requirements, and product designs to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Work closely with IT and Business Technology teams to develop solutions to address business and customer needs with cost efficiency
  • Manage work back schedule on all deliverables, following all the processes to ensure deadlines are met
  • Proficient market insights into emerging trends and competitive intelligence.
  • Serve as subject matter expert of the portfolio, share knowledge and support sales and other functional teams to drive business success

 

What you bring:

  • University degree in Business, Engineering, or Science
  • Wireless industry experience with a solid understanding of wireless products and market
  • Thought leadership with a positive attitude & passion, with the ability to think strategically and execute with excellence
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the competencies required for an effective product manager (i.e. business acumen, customer centric, innovative, strong analytical skills)
  • Demonstrated collaborative leadership with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver projects/programs on time and on budget
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication (verbal and written), and presentation skills are required
  • A self-starter with a strong work ethic who takes ownership and works effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to shifting priorities & rapid change in a fast-paced environment
