Production Manager - Sportsnet 

 

What you'll do: 

  • Administer various aspects of the logistical implementation on Sportsnet broadcast properties, working with department lead and external facilitators to ensure the coordination, requisite scheduling, and organisational commitments are completed in an effective and efficient manner
  • Assist in managing operational functions and other personnel within the department to ensure all production plans are comprehended and implemented
  • Manage production cost tracking and budget expenditures
  • Work closely with department lead to manage the financial reconciliation and reporting
  • Apply and maintain processes and systems that align to the procedural structure and workflow for departmental and corporate compliance
  • Support the business administrative functions to ensure all aspects of the production department activities are executed, detailed and documented

 

What you bring: 

  • Strong production management, interpersonal communication, and organizational skills
  • Adept business acumen, numerical and analytical skill set
  • Composure to work within in a fast and driven environment
  • Capable of giving and receiving clear direction, understanding intricate information, influencing others to act and/or change thinking
  • Knowledge and interest of the professional sports landscape
  • Thorough understanding of our key broadcast markets
  • Good understanding of geographical locations, time zones, and travel
