Rogers is seeking a Lead Developer Salesforce to lead development for Rogers Media Corporate and Sales delivery team. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Media Technology Delivery at the Rogers Downtown Campus located at 1 Mount Pleasant. The position requires you to develop flows and automation, create OmniScripts, develop Visualforce frontend and ensure Salesforce security.

 

What you will do:

  • Demonstrate a deep knowledge of all Salesforce products
  • Design and develop new features in Salesforce including Salesforce Industries (formerly Vlocity)
  • Design and develop integrations between Salesforce and external applications
  • Build and test solutions using Salesforce Industries technologies, (Industry Console, Card Framework, OmniScript, Data Raptor, and Integration Procedures)
  • Coordinate team efforts in resolving issues as they arise
  • Prepare documentation on use cases, workflows, data flows, functional specifications, and risk integration
  • Demonstrate knowledge regarding Salesforce Lightning
  • Demonstrate knowledge in CPQ Solutions
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of the Java derived Apex language
  • Engage in Salesforce Partner Communities
  • Develop Apex (classes and triggers) and Lightning Components to extend Salesforce in order to support business requirements
  •  Assist with each release cycle to implement and deploy new/updates to existing applications and code
  • Adhere to Salesforce best practices, maintain code documentation, and write / maintain test classes for all custom development
  • Develop, test, and document working custom development, integrations, and data migration elements of a Salesforce implementation

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience working as a Salesforce developer
  • 1+ years of experience with Salesforce Industries products
  • Skilled in Apex, Salesforce products, OmniScripts, Vlocity, Copado, CPQ Solutions
  • Platform Developer I & II and Platform App Builder
  • Industries CPQ Developer certification
  • Experience with Marketing Cloud Admin and AMPscripting would be ideal
  • Ability to innovate and design solutions
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to work well in a team as well as take initiative
  • Consistently demonstrate professionalism and discretion regarding confidential information
