Rogers for Business is looking for passionate, goal-oriented individuals to join our winning team. We are currently looking for a Segment Marketing Manager focused on small and mid-sized business (SMB).


The successful candidate will own the success of SMB across Rogers for Business marketing, driven by a research and a data driven understanding of the segment.


The Segment Marketing Manager is accountable for understanding the product and service requirements for the customers within the segment. How they buy, who they consult during purchase, drivers for purchasing decisions, and trends impacting their growth. Segment Managers will participate in planning marketing tactics and building connections to the segment.  


Fundamental to the success of this role is the ability to be a strategic marketer, thrive in a fast-paced industry, be comfortable working with senior leadership in a matrix style organization, while being a detail-oriented multi-tasker.


What you will be doing:

  • Research and document the needs of the segment
  • Build relationships with sales, product, regional and other partners across the organization
  • Act as the subject matter expert for the SMB segment collaborating with sales, marketing, competitive intelligence, product teams to influence success
  • Understand and react to trends within the segment
  • Recommend targeted product offers and/or bundles based on understanding of segment requirements and in collaboration with sales and competitive Intelligence
  • Recommend marketing campaigns based on segment opportunities and in collaboration with brand & acquisition team
  • Recommend events and sponsorships relevant to the segment
  • Own the overall plan and revenue targets for the SMB segment



What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree; marketing, communications, or related experience field preferred
  • Confidence in working with leaders at all levels to drive successful program development and execution
  • Business acumen and experience and managing a budget
  • Project management, program/campaign development, tracking, reporting, and execution experience preferred
  • Achievement oriented self-starter who possesses solid sales & marketing background
  • Ability to collaborate in a matrix organization, and drive success with limited supervision
  • Excellent communications and presentation skills
  • Prior telecom experience is an asset
  • Experience in a B2B Marketing role targeted to segments such as SMB, medium, large businesses, and public sector an asset
