Who we're looking for:
We’re looking for a Senior Category Manager to own end‑to‑end category strategy for Supply Chain and Wireless Customer Services - spanning: Supply Chain 3PL, couriers, 3PL and storage as well as customer facing device lifecycle services to assist the business in driving revenue targets. You will be responsible for guiding a small team of sourcing professionals to lead strategy, sourcing (RFx), complex contracting (MSA/SOW/SLA), vendor governance, and in‑year performance optimization across programs like device trade and protection, asset disposition and supply chain services throughout the business.
What you'll do:
- Set and execute category strategy across supply chain portfolio and into the wireless product team
- Lead competitive sourcing (RFx) for programs such as trade, diagnostic and courier rate harmonization
- Own complex contracting draft/negotiation/closure of MSAs, SOWs, SLAs as required
- Manage vendor performance via scorecards/QBRs, corrective actions, and continuous improvement
- Lead service transitions and vendor management throughout the flow across both wireless device lifecycle and within the supply chain in tandem with Supply Chain Operations
- Ensure commercial readiness for new and steward approvals via Ivalua/term‑sheets.
- Partner cross‑functionally (Wireless and Consumer Product, Planning, Tech Ops, Finance, Legal, Supply Chain) to unblock delivery, align for project and revenue targets
- Communicate to senior leaders with executive summaries, decision memos, and clear program readouts anchored in project realities
What you’ve delivered before (examples we care about)
- Led vendor negotiations with couriers and solid understanding of Canadian transportation
- Closed complex MSA and SOWs with actionable SLA/credit mechanisms and minimum commitments.
- Delivered technology modernization and strategic RFx outcomes
- Stood up new programs and/or modernized existing ones to reflect new technology and customer needs
- Negotiated multiple intertwined SOWs across categories with interdependencies to one another
What you bring:
- 8+ years in strategic sourcing/category management for telecom, supply chaing or wireless program/services
- Demonstrated command of logistics rates cards and task based 3PL costs
- Contracting depth across MSA/SOW/SLA design and negotiation, with change‑control, service credits, and performance
- Vendor governance expertise: scorecards, QBRs, corrective actions, and capacity planning across a multi‑vendor ecosystem
- Program leadership skills to orchestrate cross‑functional teams (Product/Operations/Finance/Legal) under tight timelines and executive visibility
- Proficiency with sourcing/contracting systems (e.g., Ivalua) and advanced Excel/PowerPoint for financial modeling and executive storytelling
Nice‑to‑have
- Experience transitioning major programs and migrations across platforms
- Familiarity with different technologies that drive efficiencies in delivery network
- Background in vendor analysis and rate analytics
