Senior Financial Analyst

Reporting into the Senior Manager Finance Reporting, the Senior Financial Analyst plays an important role in driving key stakeholder information within Rogers.

 

What you'll be doing:

 

  • Assist in the preparation, validation and maintenance of monthly reporting packages summarizing companywide results for the CEO, CFO and Executive Leadership Team

  • Assist in review of standard chart of accounts and report related changes

  • Provide guidance and support to assist finance primes with allocation models and rules

  • Assist in the establishment and review of allocations during month end close

  • Assist in consolidation of quarterly forecasts and annual budgets, including intercompany eliminations and below the line items

  • Prepare quarterly forecasts and annual budget for balance sheet and cash flow

  • Provide assistance with ad hoc work as necessary (e.g. ERP Cloud enhancements)


What you'll Bring:

 

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience

  • University Degree and accounting designation (CPA)

  • Ability to independently manage and organize multiple work activities and inputs in order to meet or exceed established deadlines and priorities

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on strong Excel and PowerPoint skills

  • Pre-existing knowledge of Oracle and Essbase would be an asset, with desire to become a super user for these tools over time

  • Ability to build strong relationships within finance organization

  • Ability to drive change to enhance processes and improve deliverables

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ease with communicating with various levels in the organization (including senior management)
