We’re looking for a Sr. Manager Partnerships responsible for successfully driving new and existing partnerships to maximize the value of our significant suite of Sports and Media Assets, and our partners.  The Senior Manager of Partnerships will be responsible for developing, overseeing, and executing our partnership strategy with a set of key partners, and exploring future alliances. This is a new and small team!  The successful candidate will be required to assume multiple roles and deeply understand business strategies from multiple perspectives to drive successful negotiations of commercial agreements. This role requires a passionate, inspiring, collaborative, and experienced professional who can work across the Rogers Sports & Media team and the broader Rogers Communication organization to assist our business teams reaching their overall business objectives by extracting additional value of existing and future partnerships.

What you will do…
•    Understanding and executing RSM’s strategic vision.  You’ll be required to interface with many teams and functions within the business to find synergies and drive efficiency.  You’ll represent these colleagues externally with partners and affiliate organizations
•    Deepen existing internal relationships and grow Rogers Sports & Media’s global footprint working closely with market leading Pure Play companies to develop new offerings and expand existing assets.  Partnerships may include but are not limited to; Google, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Amazon, Adobe, TikTok, Rogers Connected Home & Wireless, Blue Jays, MLSE and other ecosystem partners
•    Align all parties to mutually agreed upon objectives, crafting Joint Business Plans and reviewing progress at Quarterly Business Reviews
•    Articulate the joint value proposition to each organization and global consumers
•    Collaborate with product and technology teams to drive innovation by partnering with new software vendors and integrating them into the business
•    In close partnership with the business strategy team, find and evaluate new start-ups and emerging technologies to ensure RSM remains at the forefront of sports and media 
•    Locate critical gaps and needs in the business and create a plan internally and externally with both current and potential partners to address
•    Work closely with sales, marketing, content, Direct to Consumer services and future revenue channels to unlock new opportunities that increases scale and market penetration
•    Closely communicate with current partners owning the business relationship to ensure success and to extract new ventures and extension opportunities for our vast content assets
•    Lead new partner outreach and establishment, through public engagement and value propositioning

•    Ability to translate complexity into concise, intuitive frameworks and messaging
•    Proven ability to ruthlessly prioritize in order to manage multiple business objectives in a complex environment while consistently driving maximum ROI
•    Keen intuition and ability to navigate ambiguity, delivering superior problem solving that leads to a path of least resistance
•    A care for people and ensuring their needs are met.  You place an importance on long-term partnerships and unlocking value for all associated parties 
•    Ability to motivate numerous parties and people to achieve a common goal
•    An entrepreneurial mindset, constantly thinking about “what’s next” and “who else should we involve”
•    Passion for technology, innovation, sports, news and entertainment
