We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Digital Insights to oversee the team responsible for providing insights for Sportsnet, CityTV and other Rogers Sports & Media digital properties. The role requires leveraging data from our digital assets – websites, mobile apps, connected apps to drive data driven decision-making throughout Rogers Sports & Media. This role will support content, marketing, revenue, product and media sales with timely, relevant insights. It will also involve overseeing the design and implementation of the Analytics solution for Rogers Sports & Media digital properties.

What you will do…

  • Lead a team of analysts to provide insights on audiences to Rogers Sports & Media digital properties
  • Analyze digital audiences to provide actionable insights across different content areas
  • Work with Rogers Media partners to deliver meaningful insights to help them drive content, product and sales decisions
  • Work with Product Management to help define analytics features and drive enhancements to the Audience platform.
  • Work with the Rogers Media Marketing teams to drive audience-based insights across multiple communications channels and lines of businesses.
  • Develop a deep understanding of audience segments available for insights
  • Work with the broader Insights and Analytics team for opportunities to enhance audience insights through research and other data sources.
  • Refine reporting infrastructure from automated dashboards to custom reports and a framework for audience performance (KPIs)

What you will bring…

  • A passion for executing data-driven customer analytics that influence marketing programs
  • Curiosity and  developed analytical skills 
  • Superior communication skills, data storytelling, data visualization and reporting; Confidence in presenting to clients and large groups of people
  • Resourcefulness to troubleshoot/investigate issues independently
  • Ability to synthesize complex concepts and explain them clearly
  • Experience with Online Web analytics tools: Adobe Marketing Cloud, GA360, Adobe Audience Manager.
  • Ability to design and maintain web analytics implementation – preferably experience with Adobe Tag Manager/Adobe Launch
  • Experience with Domo, Power BI, Tableau or other data visualisation tools
  • Knowledge of R, SQL, Python an asset
  • Ambition in elevating insights capability, reach and impact to the business
