Rogers Business is looking for a Solution Architect I to support our Enterprise Sales organization. This role provides pre-sales technical expertise, working closely with Enterprise Sales teams and Senior Solution Architects to translate customer requirements into effective solutions and ensure a smooth transition from Sales to Service Delivery.

What you’ll be doing:
Provide Pre-Sales technical advisory services
- Support the sales process by providing pre-sales technical advisory service, aligned to customer requirements.
- Partner with Senior Solution Architects and Sales to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate product solutions.
- Leverage your knowledge of Rogers Fixed Network and Business Productivity solutions to win business
- Engage internal teams to determine feasibility and associated costs for proposed solutions.
Customer Engagement
- Support customer engagements by clearly articulating product features and benefits.
- Collaborate with Senior Solution Architects and Sales to build and maintain strong working relationships with customers.
- Respond to customer inquiries and contribute to a consistent, high-quality customer experience throughout the sales cycle.
Sales Proposal Development
- Using Rogers CRM (Salesforce), manage assigned sales opportunities from proposal creation through to customer signature and hand-off to Service Delivery.
- Assist with coordination of internal approvals, ensuring documentation is accurate and complete.
- Monitor timelines, dependencies, and action items, escalating risks as needed.
- Complete required technical pre-sales and administrative tasks.
Collaboration
- Contribute to achieving team and sales targets through effective execution and collaboration.
- Work closely with Sales, Senior Solution Architects, and other internal teams to provide a seamless customer experience.
- Support a seamless transition from Sales to Service Delivery by validating key deliverables.
Continuous Learning & Knowledge Sharing
- Maintain current knowledge of Rogers products, technologies, and industry trends.
- Participate in training and knowledge-sharing initiatives with peers.
What you Bring
- 3-5 years experience in the telecommunications industry, ideally in a technical sales or pre-sales role
- Working knowledge of Rogers Business Fixed Network and Business Productivity products
- Post-secondary education in technology or a business-related field is an asset.
- Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
