Solution Specialist - Fixed Networks + Enterprise Voice & Business Collaboration Solutions


In this exciting opportunity, the Enterprise Grade Networks Specialist will be responsible for delivering results by building integrated customized solutions for clients using standard products within Rogers Wireline and Enterprise Voice / Collaboration portfolios.   The Solution (Product) Specialist will be able to effectively position Rogers and present a strong value proposition. As a successful Solution Specialist, you will build on your entrepreneurial spirit and OWN the Sales Execution program which will meet and/or exceed defined revenue targets supporting the overall company objectives.


What you will do:

  • Achieve defined sales objectives of the Strategic Business Unit (Large Enterprise) for next generation of Rogers products (Network Internet, Ethernet, Private networks, IP voice, MPLS, Microsoft Teams, Contact Centre, and Professional Services).
  • In conjunction with the Account Executives (AE’s), create and execute an overall Territory Plan comprised of specific coverage initiatives to achieve defined KPIs.
  • Create a detailed execution program with defined strategies and tactics to leverage effectively through Rogers AE’s.
  • As a Solution Specialist, you will be responsible for acting as the Product Expert for Rogers’ Wireline and Enterprise Voice portfolios within your assigned client base.  With this role you will be expected to actively participate in discovery meetings, reviewing the customer’s technical requirements using a consultative approach.  
  • Work closely with AE & Solution Engineering to propose, design, price, and close qualified opportunities.  
  • Create innovative proposals and deliver strategic sales presentations.
  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in accounts, specifically at the executive decision-making level.


What you will bring:

  • A Strong technical background in Network, Enterprise Voice, and Carrier services is an asset.
  • A consistent track record of results in direct sales in multiple segments and verticals.
  • The ideal candidate must be able to integrate standard product offerings to create customized client solutions or differentiate Roger’s standard products relative to competition in situations where the customer chooses to act as a self-integrator.
  • Proven ability to develop and foster senior-level relationships.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, contract management and organizational skills.
  • An effective communicator, demonstrating poise and confidence with customers.
  • Comfortable and resilient in working in a continuous, fast-paced and changing industry.
  • Valid drivers license and access to a reliable vehicle is a MUST.
