Rogers Business is seeking a Solution Specialist - Data Centre and Cloud Solutions to join our Ontario Enterprise Sales team. 


The successful candidate will join a team of highly skilled Sales professionals responsible for delivering results by building integrated solutions for Rogers Business customers.  As a successful Solution Specialist, you will build on your entrepreneurial spirit and will be expected to regularly meet and/or exceed defined Sales targets supporting the overall company objectives. 


What you will be doing:

  • Work strategically with other Specialists, leveraging your knowledge of Rogers Data Centre and Cloud Solutions to win business and provide an outstanding customer experience
  • Engage and work closely with Account Executives, Solution Specialists, Solution Architects, and other internal resources to design and position the best Rogers solution, based on customer requirements
  • In collaboration with the Account Executive, clearly communicate the value of the solution to the prospective customer and promote the benefits of and endorse Rogers
  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key customer contacts, specifically at the decision-making level
  • Actively engage in the sales cycle to help provide various aspects of the solution and process these requests via our internal systems
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, contracts and required supporting documentation for Sales opportunities
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and funnel development, ensuring that all sales opportunities, documentation, and outcomes from meetings are tracked utilizing Rogers CRM ( 
  • Communicate the clients’ goals and represent their interests to internal Rogers teams. Manage client expectations with respect to product solution and implementation timelines
  • Review all major deliverables to ensure that quality standards and client’s expectations are met


What you bring:

  • University degree or technical diploma in Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or related field
  • 5 years of work experience in a telecommunication service provider or IT services organization
  • Knowledge and experience with design and implementation of Data Centre and Cloud Solutions
  • Motivation and enthusiasm with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Passion to collaborate and develop positive business relationships with customers and internal teams
  • Outstanding organization, teamwork, and collaboration skills 
  • An effective communicator, demonstrating poise and confidence with customers


Sales Experience:

  • Proven track record of results in direct sales in multiple segments and verticals
  • Minimum of 4 years of B2B solution sales success
  • Consistent sales overachiever who is results driven and customer-focused
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and organizations skills
