This role will report to the Senior Manager, Digital Connected Home Commerce, and will play a key role in strengthening Rogers’ connected home marketing efforts via digital properties.

 

The Specialist, Digital Marketing will work closely with product and marketing partners to help define and support digital tactics tied to mass campaigns, weekly site updates, and new initiatives to drive digital sales operations. This role will work cross-functionally with a diverse group of stakeholders, including Marketing, Brand, UX/UI, IT, Sales and Digital Analytics. The ideal candidate is a digital execution ninja, with a keen interest in attention to detail, organization, and a passion for leveraging insights and analytics to drive new tactics. They have a proven history in digital marketing and are able to adapt to a fast-paced, ever changing environment.

 

 

What you will be doing:

  • Responsible for site updates tied to mass and targeted marketing campaigns, TV content / programming changes, and a variety of optimization content being delivered through our digital properties (Rogers.com and Fido.ca)
  • Support brand and marketing initiatives through campaign development, working with cross-functional partners, QA and reporting insights to monitor digital performance
  • Maintain merchandising calendar and get stakeholder approvals of content to be removed or published
  • Develop relationships and leverage insights and learnings with Brand, Marketing, Product and Digital
  • Actively collaborate with Digital Analytics, Brand and Marketing, Sales, IT and UX / Design to support online operations of all Connected Home services
  • Initiate and engage in research with the Insights/Research team to develop optimization tests to refine positioning and understand compelling digital value propositions
  • Monitor competitive and global trends to uncover new opportunities / risks to the Rogers Connected Home digital presence  

 

 

What you bring: 

  • 3+ years of digital marketing experience with complex products / services
  • Hands on experience managing web content and publishing in CMS
  • Experience with agile project management
  • Strong organizational skills, with a comfort with analytics and consumer insights
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams – ability to influence, overcome resistance/obstacles, solve problems, and motivate people to take action
  • Analytical skills and sound decision-making skills
  • Ability to summarize issues and quickly solve problems
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a highly competitive market environment
  • Telecom experience is an asset
