Sr Manager, Finance Systems

Reporting to the Director of Oracle Finance Tools, this individual will lead, manage and oversee ERP/EPM Cloud Releases as well as the regular enhancements request process. This individual will work with leads from various parts of the organization to ensure that all releases and enhancements are properly vetted, prioritized, tested, communicated, and implemented. They will responsible for the end to end process of the implementations and would also play an integral part of the successful development and implementation of value-added initiatives within the organization. 
  
What you'll be doing:

  • Review Oracle monthly/quarterly release notes and work with business leads and IT to determine how the release will affect the ERP/EPM environments 
  • Manage the enhancement request process and prioritize enhancements according to impact to the organization
  • Work with the business and testing team to determine appropriate test cases are defined for each release/enhancement
  • Ensure all related testing is completed for each release or enhancement and ensure that all defects are addressed prior to implementation
  • Work with relevant teams to ensure all stakeholders are communicated to in regard to system changes 
  • Manage team and project teams to ensure tasks are completed on a timely basis 
  • Support projects to enhance system functionality and improve business processes
  • Identify process efficiencies and/or best practices as they relate to ERP/EPM Cloud and work with relevant teams to implement
  • Back up duties as required 


What you'll have:

  • Working knowledge of Oracle ERP/EPM Cloud and the relative modules  
  • Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Reporting tools
  • Experience leading projects and driving them to successful closure 
  • Ability to work with stakeholders in various departments to align and work towards common solutions 
  • Proven ability to drive change and identify opportunities for improvements 
  • Strong time management skills to meet deadlines and the ability to remain organized and focused in a very fast paced environment where multiple and changing priorities are the norm
  • Able to work under pressure, problem solve and take initiative
  • Minimum of five (5) years related work experience required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word with strong and written communication skills
  • University degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or Information Systems
  • Accounting and Finance knowledge would be an asset
