The Senior Manager of Wireline Sales will report into the Director of the National Solution Sales Team. The purpose of the role is to accelerate Wireline sales nationally, to meet budget and top line growth targets.  This role will partner with sales teams and regions across the country to drive Wireline solution sales, build strategic sales programs, sales tactics, and close training and process gaps. There is also an accountability to manage the performance of the National Wireline Specialist team, coaching and motivating the team to success and participating in high profile Wireline opportunities.  This role will also partner closely with the Wireline product teams to drive multi product attach rates, develop better go to market plans, improve customer messaging and participate in product planning to ultimately meet the IoT budget. 

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Drive WL results and overachieve sales targets by collaborating with regions on quarterly sales activities and execution plans to drive WL revenue
  • Develop WL sales strategy vision and tactics to drive revenue and market penetration
  • Consistently engage with RVP’s and Regional sales teams on WL performance, focus groups
  • Build comprehensive annual and Quarterly Sales plans in partnership with product and cross functional teams
  • Lead, Create and Manage performance and progress of sales incentives and programs to drive WL
  • Lead, Create and Manage projects that improve sales processes that ultimately improve WL performance
  • Understand and respond to changing needs of Regional markets.  Work with cross functional teams to respond to these changes
  • Uncover Business Development opportunities to drive more WL sales
  • Support new channels & markets to support growth of WL 
  • Manage relationships with multiple prospect/customers and support sales efforts
  • Support regional sales teams with sales strategy & complex deals and participate in key sales meetings & opportunities
  • Lead a group of national WL solution specialists, to achieve acquisition and base targets
  • Ensure a commitment to continuous learning at all levels within the team
  • Assist in creating a culture that fosters long-term relationships with our employees and customers, built on department values

 

What you bring:

  • Post-secondary degree/diploma certification in a business-related field or equivalent experience is required.
  • Bilingual an asset
  • Minimum 5 years of sales management experience
  • Strong business development and operational skills, with experience in growing and developing a new program
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, contract and organizational skills
  • Leadership skills demonstrating poise and confidence with Senior Management
  • Comfortable in working in a continuous fast-paced and changing industry
  • Experience in developing and executing business tactics as it relates to sales is required
  • Experience working in excel and power point
