We are looking for a dynamic and passionate communications professional to join Rogers Regulatory team as Senior Manager, Regulatory Economics.
Reporting to the Director, Regulatory Economics, you will be responsible for helping to shape regulatory policy that impacts Rogers wireline and wireless businesses.
You have experience working with administrative tribunals from a legal, financial or economic background. The role will touch upon the implementation of regulatory policies as they relate to Rogers retail and wholesale business. Your experience managing and updating legal documents and submissions to the regulator will be an asset as would an understanding of regulatory economics.
You thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment, and able to operate independently managing multiple projects and deliverables with a strong degree of professionalism.
Key responsibilities of the role include:

Management of Rogers wholesale tariffs – the administration of the tariff approval process

Monitoring and tracking of regulatory proceedings and support of Rogers’ efforts in participating in regulatory proceedings before the CRTC, Competition Bureau and ISED.

Drafting regulatory submissions as required in Tariff, industry working groups and policy proceedings

Working with our retail and wholesale business partners and technology teams in developing the financial and economic support to maintain Rogers’ investment thesis
Requirements:

7+ years’ experience working in finance, engineering, legal or regulatory functions

Results-driven, creative and collaborative team member who thrives in a fast-paced environment

Experience with administrative law and operating within the confines of administrative law

Experience with financial and engineering models.

Exposure and experience to support senior leaders in regulatory and rate setting proceedings

Ability to build relationships internally and externally with stakeholders and industry participants

Strong project management and organization skills with attention for the details

Proficiency in Microsoft O365 (PPT, Team, Yammer, OneDrive) and other communications tools

Bilingual (English/French) an asset.
