The Rogers for Business Product Management team is tasked with managing a vast array of products through their lifecycle, from idea creation to end of life.  The Sr. Manager of Wireline Product must possess a blend of business and technical skills; come with a big-picture vision along with the drive to make that vision a reality, the leadership to guide a collaborative team to success, and the ability to drive product growth in a rapidly changing market. This role is critical to the successful execution of the Rogers Wireline strategy, and the ideal candidate would have a solid background in current and legacy Wireline services. You will be accountable for the development of product strategies that address current and future market needs.  Your implementation of that strategic roadmap should deliver meaningful market differentiation and customer experience benefits.

What you will do:
•    Lead the Wireline Product Management team to deliver meaningful results and benefits for customers and the business
•    Develop the individuals on the team to see and reach their potential, and create a cadence of success and collaboration
•    Drive strategy and ensure an end-to-end approach to drive Wireline solutions across the portfolio
•    Represent the Wireline portfolio and champion customer service needs in all cross-functional initiatives
•    Engage with all relevant stakeholders to advance the needs of the Wireline portfolio to meet P&L objectives
•    Collaborate & evolve the Wireline product strategy across all Sales segments
•    Canvass other markets, carriers, and technology vendors for new ideas to differentiate Rogers
•    Evaluate technologies/platforms for viability in various business use cases
•    Determine platforms, enablers, or other systems needed to support the products and solutions for Rogers for Business
•    Prioritization and optimization of program delivery activities and trade-off management with business and technical teams
•    Work with IT, Network and Vendors to develop market-relevant products that meet our customer’s business requirements at a cost structure that enables a strong competitive stance
•    Prepare Capital requests and assist in business case development
•    Ensure that Wireline product updates are communicated broadly and effectively
•    Work with business/technology teams to manage product lifecycle and deliver a superior customer experience
•    Set clear performance standards and consistent guidance to drive successful achievement
 
What you will bring:
•    5+ years of Wireline experience preferably in a Product Management or Technical capacity
•    University degree, or equivalent business or engineering experience
•    Experience with Wireline products (Internet, Ethernet, Wavelength, MPLS, SD-WAN…) preferred
•    Experience with networking technologies preferred
•    Experience working with IT, sales, pricing, marketing, project management & process teams preferred
•    Strong understanding of the Canadian market, emerging trends, drivers, and requirements
•    Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage many conflicting priorities
•    Ability to adjust quickly to shifting priorities, rapid changes, and aggressive timelines
•    Self-motivated and a team player with the ability to come to a decision quickly
•    Strong verbal and written communication skills
•    Calm, confident and able to learn quickly on the job as needed
•    Driven to achieve established performance objectives
•    Proven ability to impact, influence and interact within the various levels of the organization
•    Ability to work independently on multiple simultaneous tasks within a fast-paced customer service-oriented environment
•    Exceptional ability to negotiate & influence to resolve challenges and achieve objectives
•    Exceptional analytical, investigative, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
•    Excellent organizational and time management skills with a strong attention to detail
