We're looking to hire a Senior Analyst, Procurement Analytics & Performance to be a part of our Procurement Team reporting to Manager, Data Analytics. This role is critical in driving operational excellence and supporting Procurement strategic decision-making through advanced analytics and process improvement initiatives. You will work very closely with category teams to provide value-added analysis and reporting.

 

What you will do:

  • Data analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret operational, financial, and performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Performance measurement: Define and develop KPIs, performance frameworks, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to eliminate waste, reduce errors, and increase efficiency across procurement operations. Apply Lean Six Sigma, or similar methodologies to optimize workflows and enhance performance 
  • Reporting and visualization: Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings and progress toward business goals to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Data quality: Establish and maintain high standards for data quality and consistency across the organization.

 

What you will bring:

  • An undergraduate degree in STEM, Master’s degree an asset
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in data analytics  or process improvement roles demonstrating an ability to derive actionable insights. Knowledge of telecom industry and Procurement is a plus.
  • Strong proficiency with SQL and at least one coding languages to manipulate data 
  • Experience in data models and data visualization, skills in PowerBI an asset
  • Knowledge of advanced statistical and analytical techniques and concepts
  • Knowledge of procurement systems and ERP platforms
  • Experience with Lean/Six Sigma methodologies is an asset.
  • Strong ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks while meeting tight deadlines, goals and targets in a fast-paced work environment
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
