As a Senior Data Developer, you will be part of the digital advertising product and operations team responsible for the introduction and automation of new reports, products, and prototypes that will evolve our ability to deliver data-driven advertising campaigns.

This position supports the entire product and operations team and will require digging into a variety of systems and processes, analyzing new reports and data sets, identifying new opportunities, and deploying solutions to make everybody's jobs faster and easier.

What you will do…

  • Developing new ways to integrate with third party ad products (via APIs and reporting suites) to streamline operations and enhance our reporting capabilities; for example, automating data reporting on a new advertising partner's performance.
  • Developing new and innovative reports around campaign performance and audience insights, and then automating them to work at scale; for example, taking that data report and mixing it with data from several additional systems to surface new opportunities in a way that we can run it hundreds of times a day.
  • Working with IT resources to extend our data warehousing capabilities by landing new data sources and leveraging these assets in new reports, processes, and dashboards; for example, taking one of those processes you've built and getting it productionized, not only fully automating it but also enabling multiple new capabilities in the process.

What you will bring…

  • A passion for working with data and systems.
  • Proven ability to capture requirements from emails, meetings, conversations, and demonstrations.
  • Expertise in SQL queries and at least one programming language.
  • Demonstrated skill in communicating technical concepts at both high and deep levels, as appropriate.
  • Experience in visualization tools and/or reporting services preferred.
  • Knowledge of both linear TV and digital advertising systems would be helpful but not required.
