We’re looking for a deeply passionate Sports fan and podcast enthusiast to join the Sportsnet Audio team. As the Sr. Digital Editor, the successful candidate will combine strong sports knowledge with a passion for podcasts, social media, and producing multi-platform content for Canadian sports fans. 

 

The Sr. Digital Editor will play a key role in supporting the production and social media strategy for Sportsnet's podcast and radio slate. They will understand, analyze, and react to the rapidly evolving audio landscape, marketplace and fan consumption habits in order to position Sportsnet for continued success in years to come. This role will report to the Director of Programming, Sportsnet Audio and is based out of Toronto, ON.

 

The position will include working nights and weekends.

 

What you will do…

  • Edit and publish live and on-demand audio content
  • Assist in the distribution of content across digital platforms, including Apple, Spotify and social media
  • Execute and manage the social media strategy for Sportsnet Audio
  • Publish content to social media channels for Sportsnet 590 The FAN
  • Work with SN590 producers and talent on live event and on-demand broadcasts to ensure we are bringing sports fans a consistent, engaging experience across all our platforms
  • Produce live and on-demand content across radio and digital platforms
  • Collaborate with Sales and Branded Content teams to execute and develop new sponsored initiatives
  • Collaborate with Design team to execute effective and clear creative elements for production and sponsorships
