Reporting to Sr. Manager Business Decision support the successful candidate will act as a trusted financial advisor to the B2B Rogers Business division of Rogers Communications. In this role the candidate will interface with the Business to help them build financial business cases and identify risks/opportunities for new product launches, existing product re-pricing, and various other capital initiatives.
What you'll do:
• End-to-End Prime to Review and evaluate R4B pricing, new products, non-standard deals, business development opportunities and capital projects • Develop financial analyses and provide independent insight and assessment of risk/opportunities
• Ensure financial analyses capture and accurately account for various costs (COGS vs OPEX vs CapEx)
• Support Ad-hoc requests and maintain an open line of communication with all internal customers
• Ensure financial processes and reporting requirements are defined and implemented
• Financial analysis and case support for key programs and initiatives within the R4B Business Unit
• Evaluate risk and return for pricing, sales/marketing investment decisions as well as strategic initiatives
• Post mortem analysis
Data Analytics
• Build and continuously update sustainable analytical models to support pricing requests, campaigns, business development opportunities
• Identify and provide trends associated to pricing, win-loss ratios, volumes
Core competencies

What you'll bring:
• 5+ years combined Finance / Data Analytics experience and Telecommunications experience
• MBA or accounting designation preferred, coupled with a solid understanding of IFRS / Finance controls
• Strong leader and solutions provider, with the ability to make critical decisions and influence others
• Excellent analytical skills, written and oral communication skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy with a strong focus on delivering quality output
• Able to adapt to a fast-paced environment with drive to constant improvement
• Willingness to work outside normal business hours during peak deliverable dates
• Proven project management ability and business judgment capable of organizing problem sets, finding solutions, and executing to a successful conclusion
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel is required
