We’re looking for a Sr. Manager, Customer Data Platforms and Integrations, as part of the Rogers Sports & Media Data Team to lead the effort to streamline the collection of customer data in one platform and how the data is successfully used to enable the business units in achieving a world-class customers experience and an outstanding customer engagement.

This role will manage the centralized customer data platform, facilitate audience segmentation strategy, as well as all the integration to other business platforms and tools for the purpose of ad optimization, personalization, insights and reporting and subscriber management.

In addition to being highly technical and experienced in AdTech and MarTech platforms, you will be a strategic team member and a great manager to your team. The role must also stay on top of key industry trends in digital media and advanced advertising and marketing.

What you will do:
•    In charge of the newly introduced customer data platform (CDP) and how all relevant customer identifiers and data is collected, aggregated and transformed into a unified customer ID Graph, and used to enable customer engagement as well as personalization, ad and subscription optimization, and insights and measurement.
•    Lead the tech integration and data flow across multiple advertising and marketing platforms in the Rogers Sports and Media environment.
•    Manage team responsible for streamlining customer data flow across our CRM data sources and AdTech and MarTech stack covering Rogers 1st party data, owned and operated digital and OTT platforms, and partner network media properties, as well as audience and media activations platforms.
•    Lead customer data platform strategy and partner with the data, product and business teams to work towards a shared data-driven vision across decisioning and activation tools within the business workflows.
•    Provide ongoing performance reporting covering segment scale, efficiency, insights and attribution measurement.

What you will bring:
•    Experience with AdTech/MarTech product engineering, platform architecture and integration, data development or related areas, as well as managing a team.
•    Strong technology expertise in implementing and managing advertising or marketing customer platforms focused on audience management, display, online video, OTT and streaming, paid search and social, and offline channels such as linear TV a plus.
•    Advanced experience with one of the Customer Data Platforms (CDP), Data Management Platforms (DMP), Marketing Cloud or Customer 360 Platforms and how it integrates to Ad Server, DSPs, web analytics, Ad Tech tools, ad verification and tag management systems.
•    Experience in data integration with upstream and downstream systems, data development, database structures and data transfer methods; e.g. ETL, API.
•    Good understanding of digital ad tech trends; including identity management, data collection, activation, and measurement concepts.
•    Experience with data science and analytics platforms and reporting and visualization tools is strongly preferred.
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as flexible to adjust to evolving business needs and work effectively in cross-functional teams.
•    Superior communication skills; ability to understand objectives, lead business and technical discussion and communicate effectively.
•    Passionate about new ideas and emerging market trends.
