The Senior Manager, Employee Benefits Solutions and Planning, is responsible for leading the strategic direction, program design, governance, and operational oversight of the Company’s employee benefits programs. This role ensures benefits offerings are competitive, compliant, and aligned with organizational goals while delivering an exceptional employee experience. The Senior Manager partners closely with HR leadership, Finance, and external vendors to manage daily administration through an outsourced model and drive continuous improvement.
What you'll be doing:
Strategic Program Design & Governance
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive benefits strategy that supports talent attraction, retention, and engagement.
• Design and implement new benefit programs and enhancements based on market trends, employee feedback, and organizational priorities.
• Establish governance frameworks, policies, and compliance standards for all benefits programs.
• Partner with leadership to align benefits offerings with business objectives and DEIB principles.
Vendor Management & Operational Oversight
• Act as the primary liaison with outsourced benefits administration and program vendors.
• Oversee daily processing, issue resolution, and service-level adherence to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Negotiate vendor contracts, monitor performance metrics, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead quarterly business reviews and manage escalations to maintain high service quality.
Analytics & Insights
• Partner with Finance to manage benefits budgets, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Monitor benefits utilization, cost trends, and employee satisfaction to identify opportunities for optimization.
• Deliver regular reporting packages and insights to leadership for strategic decision-making.
Employee Experience & Communication
• Partner with Communications to develop clear, engaging materials that promote benefits awareness and adoption.
• Ensure benefits programs are inclusive, accessible, and responsive to employee needs.
Compliance & Risk Management
• Ensure all programs comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and manage annual compliance reviews.
Leadership & Collaboration
• Serve as a trusted advisor to HRBPs and business leaders on benefits strategy and trends.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to integrate benefits with broader employee experience programs.
What you bring:
• University degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in benefits management, including strategic program design and vendor governance.
• Strong understanding of benefits regulations, market trends, and best practices.
• Proven ability to manage large-scale budgets and complex vendor relationships.
• Exceptional communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
