Who we’re looking for:
We are seeking a Senior Manager, Digital Delivery, at Rogers Bank. You will be a key team player in the technology delivery portfolio, responsible for leading high visibility programs for Rogers Bank. You will lead planning, execution and success of projects delivered by a complex cross-functional team in an agile environment. You are an impactful leader, adept at navigating complex problems and developing strong relationships with groups inside and outside of the Bank.
What you'll do:
You will be leading portfolio delivery for our multiple digital delivery groups such as our contact centre, product launches and data. You will be responsible for mentoring a team of project managers, business analysts and technology vendor teams and driving delivery for multiple product roadmaps representing high visibility programs. Beyond that, keeping programs on budget, on schedule and helping teams adhere to project governance processes will drive success. You will be working with stakeholder groups within the bank and other technology teams such as cloud engineering, cyber security and enterprise IT, ensuring that resources are allocated and prioritized to achieve a common goal.
What you bring:
- 7+ years’ experience managing large scale projects and programs
- 5+ years’ experience leading teams
- Experience with both Agile and Scrum delivery
- Technically proficient in web technologies, including expertise in cloud computing, both in deploying solution and providing support
- Work experience in application development
- Experience in leading teams to ensure project deliverables are achieved on time and escalate as required
- Effective in communicating and presenting at all levels up to and including senior management, able to influence and present
- Demonstrated success in working within cross functional teams and effective project management and analytical/decision-making skills
- 2+ years of experience in having accountability of delivery in context of multiple projects and programs, with enterprise level scope, in parallel
- 2+ years of leading direct and indirect teams, ensuring targets are met and exceptional delivery
- 5+ years of working in PMO context, including experience standing up Project Management Office processes, ways of working, reporting and day to day management
- Strong analytical, data-driven decision making and problem-solving skills
- Ability to navigate large organizations and develop strong business partner relationships
- Experience in fostering a positive and motivating work environment, growing individuals and the team, able to construct constructive and positive feedback loops and drive creativity in the team
- University under-graduate degree or college diploma
