The Senior Manager, Disability Management & Well-Being will serve as a strategic leader and visionary, driving a national, integrated approach to employee wellness and disability management across Roger’s organization. This role will champion a culture where mental, physical, and spiritual well-being are foundational to employee experience, performance, and organizational success.
Reporting to Senior Director, Benefits, Pensions, Savings & Disability Management, the Senior Manager will lead the development, execution, and continuous evolution of Roger’s holistic wellness and disability strategy. They will work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure that wellness and disability programs are inclusive, evidence-based, and aligned with the organization’s values and business objectives.
What you'll be doing:
Strategic Leadership & Program Development
• Accountable for developing and equipping the team with training, coaching and support, while mentoring the manager, fostering a strong pipeline of future leadership.
• Design and lead a national strategy that integrates wellness and disability management, ensuring alignment with Roger’s broader talent and organizational goals.
• Champion a proactive, preventative approach to well-being and disability support, embedding wellness into the employee lifecycle—from onboarding to retirement.
• Oversee the development of scalable, inclusive programs that address diverse employee needs across regions, roles, and demographics.
Stakeholder Engagement & Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Act as a senior advisor to executive leadership, HR, DEIB, Legal Talent, and Professional Development teams on wellness and disability-related matters.
• Build and maintain strategic partnerships with third-party providers, insurers, and community organizations to enhance service delivery and program innovation.
• Lead cross-functional working groups to ensure seamless integration of wellness and disability initiatives across departments.
Data-Driven Insights & Continuous Improvement
• Lead the design and implementation of metrics, dashboards, and reporting tools to evaluate program effectiveness, employee engagement, and ROI.
• Conduct advanced trend analysis and benchmarking to inform strategic planning and elevate Roger’s programs to industry-leading status.
• Ensure compliance with privacy, accessibility, and health-related legislation while maintaining ethical standards in data collection and use.
Disability Management Oversight
• Provide strategic oversight of short- and long-term disability cases, return-to-work programs, and accommodation processes.
• Partner with HR and legal teams to ensure disability management practices are fair, consistent, and legally compliant.
• Support employees through life event challenges by connecting them to appropriate internal and external resources.
Education & Culture Building
• Lead the development and delivery of educational campaigns, training sessions, and leadership development modules focused on wellness and psychological safety.
• Foster a culture where employees feel empowered to prioritize their well-being and seek support without stigma.

Required Qualifications & Experience:
• Graduate-level education in organizational psychology, counselling, disability management, public health, or a related field.
• Proven track record of designing and leading national wellness and disability programs in complex, matrixed organizations.
• Strong understanding of mental health, social determinants of health, and disability legislation.
• Experience with data analytics, survey design, and program evaluation methodologies.
