Reporting to the Director, Game Entertainment, the Sr. Motion Graphics Manager will be responsible for leading all creative design for the Toronto Blue Jays marketing department’s video needs, including but not limited to, in-stadium and online usage.




  • Work both independently and alongside Game Entertainment team to create vision for all Blue Jays video creative
  • Manage, create and produce motion graphics and video packages for in-stadium, web and social
  • Be the organization’s lead creative force behind year-over-year look and feel, including corporate partner elements, headshots, interstitials, etc.
  • Establish timelines & team workflow both during offseason and in-season to consistently hit goals and exceed the high level of production
  • Implement and maintain work back schedules, critical paths and logistic plans for all production and promotional programming
  • Oversee, mentor and develop Blue Jays graphics design team
  • Maintain Blue Jays video archive
  • Execute clear production notes and meetings to ensure all stakeholders are aware of production needs and timelines
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure production objectives are met while ensuring they are in line with Marketing strategies
  • Assist in the shooting and editing of features, headshots and packages
  • Other duties as assigned



  • Minimum 5-7 years of sports-related post-production experience
  • High level of proficiency in Adobe Creative suite and Cinema 4D software, including 3D modeling
  • Experience working with different file formats on both Mac and PC platforms
  • Experience designing for digital signage, in-stadium video board systems and ribbon boards
  • Experience in creating vision and executing large scale production projects
  • Leadership and experience in motivating production team
  • Proven ability to work within group and solo settings
  • Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven, team environment
  • Excellent organizational, creativity and communication skills required
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and perform well under pressure
  • Available to work evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Must have baseball knowledge and/or expertise
  • Up-to-date video demo reel
