We are seeking a Senior Process Improvement Analyst to evaluate and optimize cash workflows across multiple systems. A major focus will be learning current processes, identifying gaps, and implementing improved workflows that increase accuracy, speed, and efficiency. Your work will help reduce reconciliation issues, unresolved cases, and customer inquiries.
What you'll do:
• Learn and document end-to-end payment workflows across V21, Supersystem, Maestro, AR2000, Naviga, Oracle Cloud, Source Cable, and Shaw.
• Identify inefficiencies, manual steps, and root causes of posting delays, errors, unapplied cash, and reconciliation challenges.
• Analyze cash flow from subledger to general ledger and identify process improvement opportunities to ensure accuracy and control.
• Observe workflows with Cash Applications, Payments & Research, Cash Accounting, and Collections to fully understand current-state operations.
• Evaluate Payment Research case management processes to identify drivers of case volume, delays, repeat issues, and customer friction; design and recommend process improvements to reduce case aging and increase resolution efficiency.
• Identify and select the best tools and methods to implement improved workflows and automate manual steps.
• Develop KPIs to measure accuracy, processing speed, research case performance, and team productivity.
• Build dashboards and reporting that give leadership clear visibility into operational performance and process improvement impacts.
• Contribute to improvements that reduce bad debt, aging, unapplied cash, and customer payment‑related inquiries.
What you'll bring:
• Strong understanding of cash processing across the listed systems.
• Experience with AR, cash application, payment posting, or payment research workflows.
• Knowledge of subledger-to-general-ledger impacts and reconciliation concepts.
• Strong reporting and analytical experience using Excel, VBA, Python, SQL, MS Access, MS Power Apps, Alteryx or similar tools.
• Ability to learn complex workflows quickly, identify improvement opportunities, and implement practical solutions.
• Demonstrates a strong sense of curiosity and the technical aptitude to quickly learn and explore new tools.
