Sr. Developer – Conversational AI

What You Will Do:

  • Work in a small team with Startup mentality to write high quality code
  • Recommend solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of different approaches
  • Collaborate with the development team, support, and business on day-to-day development requests and support
  • Prepare documentation and use case scenarios when required
  • Leads solution designs, documents architecture proposals and creates high-level design documents
  • Helps determine coding standards along with the senior development team and ensures consistent adoption by developers
  • Conducts code reviews, mentors and coaches the larger team, provides objective feedback to consultants and development partners to ensure proper execution of projects.
  • Proactively engage with all areas of the organization to identify interdependencies, mutually beneficial goals, and opportunities for improving Virtual Assistant & Chat.
  • Establish team metrics for measurement of engineering and performance and a consistent, regular process for assessment and improvement.
  • Relentlessly strive for a consistent and excellent development processes to deliver high quality software, in rapid iterations, for business partners in multiple teams.
  • Collaborative ability to elevate projects and ideas that are not your own.

 

What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • 8+ years of professional software development experience with web technologies/full stack
  • 3+ years of experience in Python
  • Experience in designing/developing user-centric conversation experiences involving chat/text, voice, vision, AR/VR on Windows or Linux platforms
  • Strong understanding of the NLP space and Voice based processing (Natural language Processing, understanding, sentiment analysis, Intent classification, dialogue flows, personality insight, Text to Speech, Speech to Text)
  • Prior knowledge and hands-on experience utilizing platforms like Microsoft Bot Framework, Amazon Lex, Google Dialogflow, Tensorflow, IBM Watson, AWS APIs, Rasa or other programs.
  • Experience in conceiving and delivering fantastic end-to-end cross-channel experiences with an appreciation of flow, context, micro-interactions, multi-modal possibilities, performance and tone for multiple customers
  • Solid understanding of conversational dialog systems, natural language processing (NLP) fundamentals, and machine learning.
  • Experience with ML and NLU frameworks in Python (ie. NumPy, PyTorch, Spacy, Huggingface etc.) and MLOps practices is highly preferred.
  • Experience building and deploying voice or text conversational flows.
  • Experience with RASA implementation an added advantage
