Job Title: Toronto Blue Jays - 2022 Seasonal Hiring - Various Roles

 

The Toronto Blue Jays are hiring for the 2022 season!

 

We are looking for committed and enthusiastic individuals to join our team and help make the 2022 season a success. Please note that these are seasonal roles based on the baseball and Rogers Centre events schedule running from approximately March – October 2022. A job fair will be held in January to further assess applicant suitability for seasonal roles. 

 

As a condition of hire, all new employees will be required to provide proof of vaccinations against COVID 19 or undergo regular testing. Any request for an exception under Human Rights legislation must be supported by evidence to be considered by Toronto Blue Jays on a case by case basis.

 

 

We are hiring for the following roles:

 

Ballpark Setup Attendant - Be involved with the setup and tear-down of event space for various events hosted at Rogers Centre, such as concerts, training courses, trade shows, clinics, etc.

 

Facility Attendant - Maintain the cleanliness of the stadium during games and events.

 

Retail Sales Associate - Assist with the ultimate fan experience through fulfilling team merchandise needs by interacting with fans.

 

Security -  Ensure a safe and friendly atmosphere for all guests and employees. Provide a controlling influence at all entrances to Rogers Centre and throughout the facility. Must hold a valid security license. Must be available to work 85% of all Toronto Blue Jays regular season scheduled home games including evenings, weekends and holidays as required. Must also be available for 35% or as needed for all Rogers Centre events.

Usher - Responsible for providing correct seat locations to fans based on their tickets and proactively monitor assigned area for any medical, safety or incorrect seating issues.

 

Gate Staff - Primarily responsible for the entry process of fans, from crowd flow outside gates to admission of fans upon presentation of a valid ticket, provide assistance around mobile ticket access and warmly direct fans upon entry. Must be available to work a minimum of 80% of all regular season home games, and 35% (or as needed) of any other events including evenings, weekends and holidays as required.

 

Fan Services Representative - Responsible for assisting fans, resolving issues, and providing stadium related or event related information to fans in a friendly professional manner.

 

Support Staff - Can be responsible for the admission of fans, providing assistance around mobile tickets, the correct seating of fans according to their ticket, providing directions and guidance to fans, and/or monitoring designated areas for safety and ensuring fans are upholding the Fan Code of Conduct. Must be available to work 85% of all non-baseball events scheduled in a calendar year, as well as 30% (or as needed) of regular season Toronto Blue Jays home games, including evenings, weekend and holidays as required.

 

Activation Team Member - Will work alongside the Marketing Activations Manager, Activation Team Supervisor, Activation Team Leads and other members of the marketing department to assist in the setup, execution, and teardown of all Toronto Blue Jays events.

 

Warehouse Associate -  Will provide efficient receipt, distribution and accounting of all merchandise inventories incoming and outgoing.
