Who we're looking for:
Rogers Sports & Media is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented marketing enthusiast to join our team as a Trade Marketing Coordinator. In this role, you’ll help showcase our portfolio of world-class sports and entertainment properties to clients and industry professionals.
You’ll play an important role in supporting marketing initiatives that position RSM as Canada’s leading media network. From collaborating on projects that highlight our premium content offerings to helping craft compelling presentations and assisting with events that engage media buyers, advertisers, and industry partners—you’ll gain valuable, hands-on marketing experience. We’re looking for a proactive self-starter with a strong desire to learn and contribute to impactful marketing efforts.
What you will do:
- Support the execution of marketing campaigns and events across RSM media brands.
- Assist in developing marketing materials and contribute to building toolkits and collateral to enable go-to-market efforts and sales support.
- Help maintain and update the trade marketing website to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Support the creation and distribution of communications such as newsletters and other trade-facing content.
- Provide support for trade marketing updates across social and internal channels.
- Assist in maintaining brand consistency across all communications and platforms.
- Help organize and maintain planning tools, including calendars for key marketing activities
- Assist with reporting and analysis to uncover insights that support business outcomes and revenue growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, programming, insights, brand marketing, creative) to ensure alignment and timely delivery of marketing initiatives.
What you will bring:
- Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong visual design sensibility.
- Ability to turn insights into compelling, story-driven content is an asset.
- Interest in media, marketing, and audience engagement, with curiosity about how brands connect with industry professionals.
- A proactive mindset and eagerness to learn, with a desire to help position RSM as a leader in the media industry.
