Rogers Media team is searching for a creative Adobe Premiere / Avid Media Composer sports editor to edit high-end promotional spots for broadcast, social media, sales, and internal purposes.  These include but are not limited to NHL, MLB, NBA properties as well as internal and external client assets as required.


The successful candidate must be a well motivated, creative, experienced editor or recent grad that is technically proficient and a team player who works well under pressure.


 The prefered candidate will possess the following:

  • A degree in Media or Sports studies
  • Minimum three (3) years experience as a creative editor in a fast-paced environment
  • Thorough working knowledge of Adobe Premiere and Avid Media Composer
  • Experience in Adobe After Effects and Photoshop is an asset
  • Experience with colour correction, sound mixing and 5.1 Audio workflow
  • Familiar with Quantel and Grass Valley edit systems
  • Post-production workflow, closed captioning and file delivery knowledge
  • Able to work closely with Producers, Creative Directors and meet very tight deadlines
  • Sports knowledge is a must
