We’re looking for a Vice President Digital Platform, Services and Data.

What you will do…

 

Reporting into the SVP Digital, you will lead the Digital Technology Enablement function managing a team of five leaders and making an impact across digital platform and services, design and content operations, data & analytics and enterprise ad/tech mar tech.

 

What you will bring…


Leadership Accountabilities: 
•    Serve as the Technology Lead for the Digital Organization. 
•    Establish effective, collaborative and strategic partnerships with the business stakeholders and Digital Technology team with emphasis on strengthening the current relationship between Digital and IT.   
•    Manage and support a team of ~200 (full time and 3rd party team members) including product owners, developers, designers, that build products using agile and/or iterative methodologies.
•    Evolve and develop our design system, starter kit, digital data layer, and other key components of our digital platform  
•    Develop and retain talent within the Digital Technology team and promote strong engagement across the Digital Technology team. 
•    Coach and develop leadership team of Digital Development Directors to build high performing teams accountable for selecting top talent, developing our talent and strong performance management 
•    Partner with Digital VP peers and business leaders to support the area of Self-Serve for digital enabled applications i.e.: sales and enablement initiatives for Rogers, Chatr and Fido including supporting all BAU activities that drive our commerce and self-serve platforms  
 
Technical Accountabilities: 
•    Responsible for Experience Technology roadmap and work with the business partners on Strategy 
•    Lead the development and improvement of all the front end/content and system technology and code – including having ability to drive quality of code and execution on the front end 
•    Manage critical deliverables that support our peak days, including owning the plans on capacity planning/PAT testing/ working with infrastructure to ensure we never go down. Owns critical days planning and execution. 
•    Delivering on OPEX and Capex targets. 
•    Manage key vendor relationships and represent the company in negotiations with major stakeholders and strategic business.  
•    Lead the thinking on how to evolve digital operations including leading the charge to a more agile framework, change management, release management and incident management to support a modernization of our approach 
•    Implement processes, practices, and tools allow for multiple paths of delivery. i.e., create simplified, consistent, reusable, efficient and flexible methodologies 
•    Recommend improvements and drive alignment across the Digital landscape for Rogers 
•    Lead the Experience Technical vision, roadmap and Projects implementation 
•    Will be responsible to establish a code quality processes for delivery, code control and accessibility needs for the experience technologies
