Afternoon Drive Host / Assistant Program Director

 

KiSS 103.1 Victoria is looking for the next great radio star. We have an immediate opening in Afternoon Drive. As our new Afternoon Drive host you’ll be responsible for doing a live radio show each weekday. You’ll need to bring positivity, fun, creativity and your personality to our Top 40 format.  You must love pop culture and be excited to be engage with the community in and around Victoria.

For the right candidate there is the opportunity to take on the Assistant Program Director role and take an active role in the day to day programming operations of the radio station.  You’ll work alongside the Program Director to ensure that the programming strategy is implemented with precision supporting with music/imaging scheduling, coaching, promotions and ensuring smooth day to day running and quality control of the product.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare & execute daily Afternoon Drive show for a CHR station
  • Voice commercials and voice-track as needed
  • Listen, love and attend weekly music meetings
  • Daily log merges
  • Be a KiSS 103.1 Brand ambassador in the city
  • Remotes

Qualifications:

  • On-air experience a must
  • Sweet at social media
  • Team player who is driven to win
  • Can work as a team or alone
  • Highly motivated, enthusiastic individual
  • Can you do computers? Press buttons on automation, Music Master scheduling, Word & Emails
  • Must hold a valid drivers license
