Evening Traffic Anchor

Are your looking for a radio opportunity that has listeners hooked to your words and information? Are you a commuter who understands the challenges of dealing with Vancouver traffic? If so, we might have the perfect position for you.

NEWS 1130 Radio in Vancouver is looking for an Evening Traffic Anchor to work 30 hours a week, Monday to Friday. Requirements include:

  • A diploma in radio or broadcast journalism plus at least one year experience
  • A solid understanding of Vancouver geography as it relates to roads and traffic
  • A strong on-air sound
  • Strong social media and computer skills
  • Ability to work proactively and independently
