We’re looking for a morning show traffic reporter to fill a 9 month contract.  

680 NEWS is #1 in Toronto and we are  looking for someone who can connect with our listeners on air and online!  The news division of Rogers Sports and Media includes 680 NEWS, CityNews and OMNI TV – we work as one dynamic team to deliver the most up to date and trusted information.   

What you will do…

  • You will be a part of a dedicated and hard-working team craft and deliver traffic reports on Toronto #1 news station. 
  • Being a part of the top rated 680 NEWS morning show and working as a team to create a product that people rely on
  • Be committed to being first, fast and factual and helping people save time
  • Edit, write, produce and broadcast the most up to date traffic reports
  • Reporting live on breaking news events affecting traffic
  • Generating creative digital and social content

What you will bring…

  • People rely on 680 NEWS now more than ever, so we need a dependable, smart, news junkie who loves working in a team environment
  • An excellent grasp of the roads, highways and traffic patterns of the GTA and surrounding areas  
  • The successful candidate will have experience reading either traffic or news in a live environment, a background in reporting, and a honed newswriting style. 
  • You follow 680 NEWS on its digital platforms and have ideas for its growth
  • A desire to win 24-7
